Hsrp Or High-security Number (Hsn) Plates Are Specialised Licence Plates Aimed At Strengthening The Security Of Vehicle Registration And Lower Vehicle-related Crimes Like Theft And Fraud. Hsrp Or Hsn Are Equipped With Various Tamper-proof Security Features And Are Designed For Easy Traceability.

Union Minister For Road Transport And Highways, Nitin Gadkari Also Addressed Another Issue, Stating That Tamil Nadu Holds The Record For The Highest Number Of Black Spots Within The National Highway Network Across The Country. Essentially,

Black Spots Are Locations On National Highways Where A Section Of Approximately 500 Metres Has Witnessed At Least Five Road Accidents In The Past Three Years. Tamil Nadu Has Identified A Total Of 748 Black Spots On Its Network Of National Highways, Followed By West Bengal And Telangana, With 701 And 485 Black Spots, Respectively.

As Per National Highways Authority Of India (Nhai) And The Ministry Of Road Transport And Highways (Morth), These Black Spot Stretches Are Identified Based On The Frequency And Severity Of Accidents. Nitin Gadkari Also Added That The Information About Accidents And Deaths At These Dangerous Spots Is Organised By Each State Or Union Territory. The Data Covers The Years 2018 To 2020 And Comes From Various States.
